1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3v eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

1/2 c. sugar (or 2/3)
1 tsp cinnamon
12 oz choc. chips

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla. Combine eggs (one at a time) flour, and baking powder. Alternate with flour, adding sour cream, baking soda, and salt. Start and end with flour. Spread 1/2 batter into 13x9 pan. Sprinkle with topping.Bake at 350 for 45 minutes (don't overbake).
