1 lb ground beef
1/4 c bread crumbs
1/4 c chopped onion
1 egg
1 small clove garlic
1 T shortening
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 c drained chopped tomatoes
2T vinegar
2T brown sugar
2 tsp soy sauce
dash pepper
cooked rice

Mix beef and next 4 ingredients. Shape into meatballs and brown in shortening. Pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients except rice. Cook over low heat 20 min or until done. Serve over rice.
