1 dozen eggs,
8c. flour,
1 T. baking powder,
1/2 c. + 1 T. oil (Crisco),
pinch salt,
1/4 c. flour
Honey Syrup
1 large jar honey
1/2 jar water
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients in bowl and make a well. Mix together. Knead dough for 2 min. or until smooth.
Roll out to 1/8". Cut into strips 9x3 ". Shape strips into nests by pinching together 1/2" apart. Then join together forming nest. Fry in deep pan with Crisco oil until lightly browned. (Placing them in the oil upside down helps keep them together.) When cooled, spoon honey syrup over nests.
Syrup:Combine the syrup ingredients above and boil gently for 5 minutes until the liquid gets syrupy.
