2 lb. stew meat
2 T. margarine
1 10 1/2 oz. can beef broth
1 1/2 c. burgundy wine
1 16 oz. can tomatoes
1 bay leaf
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced


Vegetables:
4 carrots, cleaned and chunked
4 potatoes, cubed
1 green pepper
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
In large dutch oven, brown beef in margarine, add salt and pepper. Add other ingredients and simmer over low heat at least 2 hours. Add vegetables and cook 45 minutes more. Thicken with 1/4 c. flour mixed in 1 c. water. Stir in until thickened.
