1 1/2 lb. sirloin tip or round steak
1/2 c. margarine
1 onion, sliced thin
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 clove garlic
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. cooking sherry
2 T. ketchup
2 T. Worcestershire
salt and pepper to taste
1 pint sour cream

Serves: 6-8

In large saucepan, saute onions, garlic and mushrooms in margarine. Add beef and cook until browned. Add cream of mushroom soup, sherry, ketchup, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Stir. Turn off until ready to eat. Just before serving, return to heat, bring to simmer and add sour cream, folding in. Serve over noodles or rice.
