1 cup boiling water
1 cup shortening
1 cup flour
1/8 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat water and shortening un saucepan until it boils. Add all at once flour sifted with salt, sitry vigorously. Remove from the stove; cool, and mix in unbeaten eggs, one at a time;add baking powder; mix and drop by spoonfuls 1 1/2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Shape into circular form with wet spoon. Bake in hot oven at 450º for ten minutes, then reduce heat to 400º, and bake for another 25 minutes. Fill cooled cream puffs with your favorite cream or pudding filling, or ice cream.?
