1 large metwurst or 2 lbs smoked kielbasa
2 pkg (10 oz) frozen French-cut green beans
2 cans (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
Red beans can be used
1 c chopped onion
4 cups potatoes, cubed
1 quart water
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
If using metwurst, remove skin and cube.
Add rest of ingredients, bring to boil in large kettle.
Lower heat and simmer 2 - 3 hours.
After first hour, taste, and adjust seasonings.
