2 cups persimmons
3 eggs
1 cups sugar
1 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
teaspoon salt
cup melted butter
1 teaspoon ginger
2 cups rich milk
teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins or nuts

2 cups persimmons mashed. Beat in 3 eggs and 1 cups sugar. Fold in; 1 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, teaspoon salt sifted together. Add cup melted butter, 1 teaspoon ginger, 2 cups rich milk, teaspoon nutmeg, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 cup raisins or nuts. Pour into 9 x 9 greased pan, bake until firm about 1 hour in 325 degree oven. Serve with hard sauce or whipped cream.
