4 raw potatoes
2 eggs - separated
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 ½ tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Directions:
Grate potatoes to make 2 cups, add onion and beaten egg yolks. Stir in flour, baking powder and seasonings. Mix well. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Drop by spoonful in hot shortening in heavy skillet. Brown on both sides.
