1 large onion
1 clove garlic
2 lbs. ground beef
½ lb. fresh mushrooms
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 ½ cups water
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 package frozen chopped spinach
1 package large shell macaroni
½ cup chopped parsley
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon sugar

Directions:
Sauté large onion and garlic, add ground beef and sliced mushrooms. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to mixture. Simmer for 1 hour. Cook frozen spinach and reserve liquid. Cook macaroni. When spinach is cool, add parsley, Parmesan cheese and spinach to liquid to spread consistency. Add salt and sugar. In bake pan, layer meat sauce, macaroni, and spinach mixture. Repeat, ending with macaroni. Sprinkle Parmesan on top. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Turn down to 3oo degrees and bake for one hour. Boer with foul but do not seal.
