3 ½ lbs. round steak
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Paprika
Flour
Olive oil
1 large onion
1 ½ - 2 stalks of celery
Bit of parsley
½ bell pepper
1 can mushroom soup
1 can button mushrooms or ¼ - ½ pound fresh mushrooms

Have butcher pound round steak well. Season meat gently with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Roll pieces of meat in flour and shake off the excess. Brown the meat in olive oil. While meat is browning, chop the onion, celery, parsley and bell pepper together. Remove browned meat from skillet and add the vegetables. Sauté until light brown. Sprinkle small handful of flour over browned vegetables. Add hot or boiling water gradually, stirring to make a gravy base. Add a couple of drops of gravy master. Place meat in a Dutch oven, pour gravy over meat, cover with lid and put in pre-heated oven 350 degree oven. Cooking time is 2 to 2 ½ hours. When about half done add one can mushroom soup, heated together with water, to meat. About ½ hour before done add a can of the button mushrooms or fresh if desired.
