2 lbs. ground beef
2 large onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 cans diced tomatoes (may add V-8 juice, if you wish.
3 T. chili powder
1 T. salt
1 T. sugar
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
12 each whole cloves
2 each bay leaves

Directions:
Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic in stock pot. Drain well. Return meat mixture to stock pot and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Remove bay leaves and cloves before serving.

Freezes well for a quick meal on a cold winter day. Optional: Add 1 can of kidney beans and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
