1/2 c peanut butter
2 sticks margarine
1 c water
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c buttermilk


Topping:
1/2 c peanut butter
6 tbsp buttermilk
1 stick margarine
4 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour 10 X 15 sheet cake pan. Mix peanut butter, margarine, and water in saucepan. Bring to rapid boil. Mix dry ingredients. Pour wet ingredients over dry. Add eggs and buttermilk. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool.
Topping:
Boil peanut butter, buttermilk, and margarine. Mix with powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread over cake.

I like to beat topping to cool a little. If frosting and/or cake is too warm, the frosting soaks into cake and makes a wet mess.
