1 large can pears
1 large can apricots
1 large can peaches
1 large can pineapple chunks
1 small jar maraschino cherries
2 cups salted almonds or pecans
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
3 tsp curry powder

Serves: 10-12
Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Drain all fruits. Mix fruits and nuts together in large bowl. Melt and mix butter, brown sugar and curry powder in small sauce pan. Pour over fruit and nuts and mix gently. Pour this into buttered 9x13 dish. Bake at 325º for 45 minutes. Serve warm with pork and any poultry.

This was a favorite for many years of my Aunt Ann Rude Merritt. She was a wonderful hostess and loved to entertain. This dish is "pretty" because it is colorful.
