1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening or margarine
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cream of tarter or 3 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortenings/margarine/butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Mix. Roll out on floured area and cut with cookie cutters. Refrigerate dough if it becomes too soft. Put on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes. Cool on rack after allowing to sit a few minutes on cookie sheet. Frost or sprinkle with sugar, or sprinkles.
