1 cup shortening or butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
4 cups flour
2 cups applesauce
1 cup nuts
1 cup raisins
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
2 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Beat until creamy, shortening (butter) and sugar, add eggs and beat. Add applesauce and dry ingredients. Mix well. Add nuts and raisins. Mix. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.
