3/4 cup Margaarine or Butter (softened)
3T Brown sugar
2 1/2 cups small stick pretzels (crushed)
1 large package strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
3 cups strawberries (I use frozen - sliced)
1) 8 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
1 scant cup sugar
1 small carton cool whip

Directions:

cream margarine and brown sugar. mix in pretzel crumbs. Pat into lightly buttered 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 - 12 minutes at 350º.
Dissolve jello in boiling water. add strawberries to hot jello. Chil until it starts to set. cream cheese with sugar, fold in cool whip. Spread over the cool crust. When jello mixture starts to thicken, pour it over the cheese layer. Chill until firm.
