1 lge Potato
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 t. Salt
3/4 c. Milk
2 c. flour
1/2 c. Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potato, drain, add 2 T. butter and milk like you would for mashed potatoes. Add the rest of the ingredients, adjusting the flour amounts to make a stiff dough.
Break off pieces and flatten, put a plum, or peach (ok to used canned fruit when not in season) in center and fold. Seal with a fork dipped in flour.
Put in pot of boiling water, do not overcrowd for approx 10 min.
Keep hot in frying pan that has melted butter, on low heat.
Recipe can be doubled.
