floour for dredging, salt and pepper
2 lbs boneless chuck, cut in 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup salad oil
6 medium onions,sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp thyme
1 can beef broth
1 can beer

Directions:
Directions:
1 . Dredge meat in seasoned flour
2. Heat oil in skillet-add onions and garlic. Cook until just tender. Remove from skillet.
3. Brown meat in skillet-return onions and garlic to skillet.
4. Add remaining ingredients.
5. Cook over low heat about 1 1/4 to 2 hours.
