1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups quick cooking oats
1 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup raisins
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Mix sugars, shortening, milk and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten cookie dough with bottom of glass dipped in water. Bake until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from cookies and cool on rack.
