1 lb of minced lamb or ground turkey or beef
1 medium onion
1 garlic clove
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
1 Tbsp fresh mint (optional)
1 Tbsp of parsley
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg beaten
olive oil, for brushing

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place ground meat in a large bowl. Add in chopped up onion, garlic, bread crumbs, mint, parsley. Season well with salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients well and then add in the beaten eggs and mix well.

2. Using your hands form meat mixture into meatballs.

3. Place meat balls on skewers for grilling or fry in a pan until meat is thoroughly cooked through. Brush with olive oil while cooking.

4. Serve meatballs with rice or in pitas to make greek sandwiches.

If you eat the meatballs in pita. I suggest adding hummus, feta and lettuce for a great sandwich!
