Bread of your choice, trimmed of crust if desired
cucumber sliced very thin
1 C butter, softened
3 T tarragon
1 T parsley
1/2 T sage

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the tarragon, parsley and sage into the butter.
Spread butter on the bread slices, top with cucumber and another slice of buttered bread. Cut sandwiches as desired.

Personal Notes:
If desired, you can soak the cucumber slices for 1 hour in white vinegar and a little salt, drain well before adding to sandwich. You can also add watercress for a spicier flavor.
