3 Pounds small yellow squash
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup crushed Saltines
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and trim squash and boil in salted water until tender; then drain and mash. Saute onions in butter and add to squash mixture. Beat eggs and add to squash along with crushed Saltines. Add salt and pepper. Mix well and put into buttered 2-quart casserole dish. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes.
