1 tablespoon oil
1 lb. Ground beef
1 onion, chopped
¼ cup chopped bell pepper
4 chopped green onions (optional)
¼ cup chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper (about 1 tsp salt; pepper to taste)
1 tablespoon chili powder (I like a little more than this)
¼ tsp. Sugar
1 large can tomatoes (the diced ones work well)
This is the extra large can
1 l6 oz. Can corn
1 – 32oz can ranch style beans
3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 cups water

Brown beef in oil. Add next five ingredients. Saute until soft. Add seasonings. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil stirring frequently. Simmer about 40 minutes.
