2/3 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 lg eggs
3 cups quick cooking or old fashion oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. Beat all ingredients except oats, flour, and raisins in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with a spoon. Then stir in raisins oats, and flour. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove immediately from cookie sheet to a wire rack.
