1 ½ c. sugar
½ c. butter
½ c. shorting
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
4 eggs-mix well
3 c. flour
1 can cherry, apple, blueberries or
pie filling of choice.
Toppping:

1 c. powder sugar
1-2 T. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Blend first 6 ingredients together.
Then add eggs. Turn on high for 3 more minutes. Spoon in flour with spoon (DO NOT BEAT). Spread 2/3 of mixture into jellyroll pan, pat to all edges. Top with 1 can of any pie filling. Then by tablespoon drop remaining dough on top.
Bake 45 minutes at 350º. Drizzle topping over hot coffee cake.
