Bar Cookie Crust:

2 ½ c. flour
1 c. margarine, cut in pieces
½ c. powdered sugar
¼ tsp. salt
Filling:

1 ½ c. Karo Light Corn syrup
1 c. (6oz.) semisweet chocolate
1 c. sugar
chips
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
2 ½ c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º. Spray 17 ¼” x 11 ½” x 1” baking pan with cooking spray. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat flour, margarine, sugar and salt until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; press firmly and evenly into prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Now add Filling. Filling: In large heavy saucepan combine corn syrup and chocolate chips. Stir over low heat just until chocolate melts. Remove from heat. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla until blended. Stir in pecans. Pour over hot crust; spread evenly. Bake 30 minutes or until filling is firm around edges and slightly firm in center. Cool completely on wire rack before cutting. Bake at 350º.
