1 med. head cabbage, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
2 carrots, shredded
1 tsp. salt
1 cup. cider vinegar
2 cups sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. whole mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Place cabbage in bowl. sprinkle with salt. Let stand one hour & drain, then add chopped pepper & carrot.
While cabbage is standing, mix the cider vinegar, sugar, water, mustard seed, and celery seed in a medium saucepan Bring to a boil. Boil one minute. Cool to lukewarm. Pour over cabbage mixture.
Freeze in containers or put in fridge if you want to eat it right away. Last 2 weeks in fridge. May be re-frozen if necessary.
