1/2 medium Onion, chopped
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 lb. Ground Beef
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. ground Cumin
1 tsp. ground Oregano
1 tsp. ground Italian Seasoning
15 oz. Tomato Sauce
29 oz. Tomato Puree (or stewed tomatoes if you like it chunky)
2-15 oz. cans Chili-Hot Beans
2 Bay Leaves

In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic. Add the ground beef, cayenne pepper, chili powder, cumin and oregano. Cook until the meat is browned. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Simmer on low for 1=2 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving.

Serve with Cornbread on a cold winter evening. This is not a chunky tomato chili, the only chunks will be the ground beef and the beans.
