1/4 cup of sugar
4 egg yolks
1 tsp of vanilla
3/4 cups of cake flour
3/4 tsp of baking powder
1/ 2 tsp of salt
4 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
You must use the following jelly roll pan: 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inches. Preheat the oven to 375º Sift 1/4 cup of sugar. Separate 4 eggs. Beat the 4 egg yolks until light and fluffy and add the sugar gradually. Beat until creamy. Add 1 tsp of vanilla. Take the 3/4 cup of sifted cake flour, and add the baking soda and the salt. Add cake flour to the egg mixture until smooth but not dry. Take the 4 beaten egg whites and fold into the cake batter. Bake about 15 minutes. When cool, fill and roll.
