2 sticks butter
3 c sugar
3 c flour
½ c Crisco
1 c milk
¼ tsp. baking powder
5 eggs
½ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and Crisco together. Add sugar one cup at a time. Mix well. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each. Shift together baking powder and amount of milk until flour and milk are gone. Add vanilla. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for about 1 hour and 5-10 minutes at 300º if your stove cooks fast or 325º if yours cooks slow.
