1/2 cup margarine (1 stick) softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup can Libby's Pumpkin
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder

Frosting

3 tbsp butter/margarine
3 cups powdered sugar
3-4 tbsp milk
1- 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup nuts of your choice (optional)

Directions:
Combine margarine, sugar, pumpkin and egg, beat until fluffy. Combine all dry ingredients, add to wet, beat until blended. Add raisins and nuts. Drop tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake 350-375ēŠ

Frosting Directions
Combine butter, sugar and milk in bowl, beat adding more milk if needed to make desired consistency. Add vanilla at the end. This makes guite a bit frosting enough for all the cookies and then some.

These cookies are sooooo good with a tall cold glass of milk they will melt in your mouth you will want them all the time. I love them with the icing my friend would prefer with out the icing. Either way they are soooooo good.
