2 eggs,
1/2 c. buttermilk,
1 tsp. soda,
1 tsp. vanilla,
1 tsp. cinnamon,
2 c. flour,
2.c. sugar,
1/2 tsp. salt,
2 sticks oleo,
5 tbsp. cocoa,
1 c. water

Icing:
1 stick oleo,
6 tbsp. buttermilk,
4 tbsp. cocoa,
1lb. box powder sugar,
1 tsp. vanilla,

1/2 c. chopped nuts. (optional).

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together eggs, buttermilk, soda, vanilla & cinnamon. Set aside. In a large bowl mix together flour, sugar, salt.
In a saucepan melt oleo, add cocoa and water. Bring to a boil stiring constantly. Cool slightly, then add to flour mixture. Mix well, then add egg mixture.
Spray jelly roll pan with cooking spray. Pour cake into pan. Cook 350º 15-20 min, or till test done.

Icing: Melt the oleo in a saucepan, add buttermilk & cocoa. Bring to a boil. Pour over powder sugar, mix with a mixer till smooth. Ad vanilla, and stir in nuts. Pour over cake while still warm.

Personal Notes:
If you don't have any bottermilk, add a tsp of vinegar to 1 c. regular milk. Let stand for 5 min.
If you buy buttermilk and don't use it all, pour 1 cup into margarine containers and freeze. When ready to make another cake, thaw in the refrigerator.
