Bean Quartet Recipe

6 slices bacon
1 cup chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can butter beans, drained
1 can great northern beans, drained
1 can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 can garbanzo beans, drained
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup light molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 small onion sliced, separated into rings

Cook bacon in skillet until crisp, crumble; set aside.

Cook 1 cup onions and garlic in butter; drain. In slow cooker, combine all beans, bacon, onion mixture, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper; mix well.

Cook on low heat for 5-7 hours. Garnish with onion rings.
