3/4 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups chopped pecans
3 cups flour

Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9 x 13 pan, or, for thinner bars, a 10 x 15 jellyroll pan.

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sguar until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool lightly.

Stir in the eggs and vanilla into the brown sugar and butter. Mix in the chopped pecans, and then the flour. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
