1 pkg yellow cake mix,
1 pkg (4 oz) bx vanilla instant pudding mix,
1 1/2 cup water,
4 eggs,
1/4 cup cooking oil,
2 cups coconut,
1 cup chopped pecans

Cream Cheeese Frosting
4 T butter,
2 cups coconut,
1 8oz pkg cream cheese,
2 tsp vanilla,
2 T milk,
3 1/2 cups confection sugar

Blend cake mix, pudding, water, eggs and oil in mixer; beat - stir in coconut and pecans. Pour into( 3), 9" pans. Bake 35 min at 350 degrees. Cool in pans 15 min. Frost with coconut cream frosting.

Frosting: Melt 2 T butter, add coconut, stir constantly over low heat until golden brown. Spread coconut on absorbent paper to cool. Cream 2 T butter with cream cheese, add milk and sugar, beating well, add vanilla, stir in 1 3/4 cup of coconut. Spread on top and sides of cake, sprinkle with remaining coconut.
