2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
3 large, ripe bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt, and baking soda together and set aside. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. If using an electric mixer, slice bananas and blend into egg mixture. If making bread by hand, mash bananas with a fork before adding to the batter. Beat in dry ingredients until well mixed.

Bake in a well greased 9x5x3" loaf pan for 1 hour in a preheated 325º oven. Turn out on a wire rack to cool.
