Hamburger Vegetable Soup Recipe

3 ½ lbs. Lean Ground Beef (Browned)
6-7 stalks celery,chopped
2 med. to lg. onions, chopped
1 lg.can V-8 Juice
2 cans Campbell’s Beef Consommé Soup
1 soup can water
1 (14 ½ oz) can Diced Tomatoes
2 packages Frozen Soup Vegetables
1 (15.25 oz) can Yellow Corn
½ small cabbage, chopped
1 cup Macaroni
Pepper to taste

Brown ground beef; then add Vegetable Juice, Beef Consommé, water, and let come to a boil. Then add celery, onions, Yellow Corn, Diced Tomatoes, and frozen vegetables. Allow mix to come back to a boil and let simmer for about hour then add cabbage and let simmer another hour. Then add Macaroni, stir in and let simmer for a couple minutes. Then turn off stove and put lid on pot tight for about an hour. Do not remove lid during the hour.

Serves 12 –14 Hearty servings
