cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 banana
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cups whole wheat graham flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
3 cups rolled oats
cup walnuts
1 cup golden raisins


1. Heat oven to 350F. In large bowl, beat butter, banana and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add oats, walnuts and raisins; mix well. Add in coconut if desired.
2. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
4. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
