1-1/4 c. chopped cranberries [chop partially frozen]
1/4 c. sugar
Salad:
4 c. broccoli florets
4 c. packaged coleslaw mix [shredded cabbage]
1/2 c. chopped cashews [or walnuts]
1/2 c. raisins
1/3 c. chopped onion
6 slices bacon, crisp-cooked & crumbled
Dressing:
1 c. light or regular mayonnaise
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar

In small bowl combine the chopped cranberries and sugar. Cover and chill until serving time [berries will release juice].

Salad:
In large bowl combine broccoli, cabbage, nuts, raisins, onion & bacon.

Dressing:
In small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, 1/4 C sugar, & vinegar. Drizzle over broccoli mixture, toss gently to coat. Cover & chill for 2 to 24 hours.

Just before serving, gently fold cranberry mixture into salad.
