Cabbage Casserole Recipe

1 head of cabbage cut into small pieces
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 stick butter
1 chopped onion
1 chopped bell pepper
3 cloves of garlic chopped
2 cans of Cream of Mushroom soup
1 can of mushrooms
2 c. cooked rice
1 bunch green onions
bread crumbs

Boil cabbage in salt water, drain and reserve 1 cup.
Brown ground meat in butter.
Add onion, bell pepper and garlic.
Add the 2 cans of soup and mushroom, mix well.
Add rice and the 1 cup of reserved liquid, stir
Add green onions and place in a greased casserole dish.
Top with bread crumbs.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
