1 1/2 cup unsifted all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 pkg vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups quick cook oats
1 cup raisins, chips, nuts (optional)

Directions:

Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and pudding mix in large bowl. Beat until smooth. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats, raisins, and nuts. Batter will be stiff. Drop by spoonful onto ungreased baking sheets 2" apart. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.
