2 1/2 to 3 lbs of Cube Steak
1 large sweet onion chopped
1 cup white or whole wheat flour
1/2 cup olive oil or canola oil
1 tbls season salt
2 tsp black or white pepper
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
dash of season salt
dash of pepper

Gravey
1/2 cup white or whole wheat flour
3 tbls olive oil or canola oil
2 cups of water
2 tsp season salt
1 tsp white or black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a large black skillet place oil over medium heat. Wash cube steaks and pat dry with white paper towels. Add dry ingredients except flour. In a separate plate add flour, add dash of season salt, and pepper. Coat cube steaks on both sides until covered. Add onions to skillet and cook until onions are tender. Remove onions from pan. Place floured cube steaks into skillet over medium heat, let brown. Turn meat over and cook until brown on both sides. Cooking time approximately 30 minutes. Remove steaks from skillet. Clean skillet and return to stove over medium heat. Add oil until hot, then add flour mixture. Turn fire high and stir flour mixture until it is golden brown. Turn heat down to meduim and add water slowly stirring so as not to stick. After the gravy thickens add cooked cube steak and onions. Turn heat down low and cover. Let simmer for approximately 30-45 minutes until steaks are tender. Occasionally check contents and add additional water if necessary.
