"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

In saucepan, blend gelatin, sugar and coffee. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over low heat, stirring until gelatin and sugar are completely dissolved (5-10 minutes).

Beat egg yolks. Stir about half the hot mixture into yolks. Return all to pan; cook, stirring constantly for 3-5 minutes until slightly thick.

Chill until thick and syrupy. Add whiskey to gelatin mixture and beat until light and frothy.

In another bowl, beat egg whites until they form firm, white peaks. Fold into gelatin mixture. Whip the cream and fold it into filling. Spread in a pie shell. Garnish with chocolate curls. Refrigerate until firm.
