1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed banana
1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. fresh or frozen blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in bananas. In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients and blueberries, stirring gently. Combine mixtures, stirring gently. Pour into well greased and floured 9x5x3-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. Let set in pan 10 minutes before removing.
