1 1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. brown sugar, packed
2 1/4 t. baking powder
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. ginger
1/2 t. salt
1 medium pear, peeled and chopped finely
1 egg
1/2 C. yogurt, plain
1/2 C. oil
Topping:
4 T. finely chopped walnuts
4 T. packed brown sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Place first 6 ingredients n a large bowl. Stir in chopped pear. Whisk together egg, yogurt, vanilla and oil. Stir into dry ingredients until just combined. Do Not over mix. Fill greased muffin cups about 2/3 full.
Mix topping ingredients together. Sprinkle over each muffin. Bake 20-25 minutes, until lightly browned.
