1 c. butter
2 c. sugar (1 c. white and 1 c. brown)
2 eggs
3 or 4 c. flour (I use 3 3/4 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. nuts
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients and roll dough into a roll. Wrap and put in refrigerator until cold and can be sliced. Bake in 350 oven. Use top rack. Check after 8 minutes. These bake fast.
