One Chicken
8 pepper corns
2 stalks celery cut up
1 carrot sliced
1 whole onion quartered

frozen peas
2 carrots
1 can cream of chicken soup
bisquick recipe for dumplings

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken with pepper, celery, carrots and onion for about 1 hour. Allow to cool.

Removechicken bones and pepper corns, celery, carrots and onion but reserving liquid.

Return to stockpot and add peas, salt and pepper, soup and carrots.

Bring to a boil and make dumplings according to box directions.

YES!! YES!! My favorite birthday dinner when I was growing up. If we we emptied our bowl, my dad would pour the juice in a glass and add milk and that was our reward for cleaning our bowls! (none of us admitted that it tasted terrible luke warm!)
