8 slices white bread without crusts
3/4 lb. grated cheddar cheese
1 1/2 lbs. skinless sausage links
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups milk
3/4 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup vermouth
4-5 oz. can sliced mushrooms

Directions:

Cut sausage links in thirds and brown. Cube bread and place in a 9x13 casserole pan. Top with cheese and cooked sausage. Mix together eggs, milk, mustard and a small dash of salt. Pour over casserole. Place covered casserole in refrigerator and let stand overnight. Next morning blend together soup and mushrooms with dry vermouth. Pour over casserole. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300º. Serve will small Danish.
