- One pound of ground Italian Sausage
- Lasagna noodles
- I can of Tomato Sauce
- 1 small tub of small curd cottage cheese
- 1 egg
-Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 350º

- Brown sausage in a large skillet. Set aside
-Cook noodles until tender, but still have a bite - add olive oil so noodles won't stick together.
- Add egg to tomato sauce to thicken and set aside
- Grease large glass baking dish

Layer dish with noodles, sprinkle sausage, cottage cheese and then add mozzarella cheese. Top with another layer of noodles, sausage, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese.

Cover with foil and cook for 25-30 minutes. Uncover for last 5-7 minutes to brown top.

A friend gave this recipe to me that's been in her family for generations. When I say it's the best I've ever tasted...I'm not kidding! It's really mind blowing how good it is...but you wanna talk about some calories...holy moly!
